We are looking for a skilled and proactive DevOps Engineer to join our travel technology team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining reliable, secure, and scalable infrastructure for our travel application and supporting the development team in delivering software efficiently.
The DevOps Engineer will work closely with developers, QA engineers, and product teams to automate deployments, monitor application performance, improve system reliability, and maintain cloud infrastructure.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
1+ year of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, System Administration, or a similar role.
Good understanding of Linux/Unix systems.
Hands-on experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Knowledge of Docker and containerization.
Understanding of networking, servers, databases, and application deployment.
Familiarity with tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or similar platforms.
Basic knowledge of infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform is an advantage.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
Experience supporting web or mobile applications in a production environment.
Experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, CloudFront, Route 53, and CloudWatch.
Knowledge of Kubernetes is a plus.
Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or similar platforms.
Experience with Node.js/Next.js deployment environments is an advantage.
Experience working in a travel-tech, SaaS, e-commerce, or startup environment is a plus.
Understanding of application security, scalability, and high-availability architecture is an advantage.
Manage and maintain cloud infrastructure and application environments.
Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment.
Automate development, testing, deployment, and infrastructure processes.
Deploy and manage applications across development, staging, and production environments.
Monitor application performance, server health, system availability, and infrastructure resources.
Identify and resolve deployment, infrastructure, and production issues.
Implement appropriate security, backup, monitoring, and recovery processes.
Work closely with developers and QA teams to improve the software delivery lifecycle.
Manage application logs, alerts, and monitoring systems.
Maintain infrastructure documentation and deployment processes.
Optimize cloud resources for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
Support production releases and troubleshoot issues when required.
