We are looking for a talented and experienced Frontend Engineer (Next.js) with a minimum of 2 years of professional experience to join our travel technology team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing fast, responsive, and user-friendly interfaces for our travel application.
Will work closely with designers, backend engineers, and product teams to build seamless digital experiences that help users discover, plan, and manage their travel.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of professional experience as a Frontend Engineer or Frontend Developer.
Strong knowledge of Next.js, React.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
Good understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive web design.
Experience integrating frontend applications with REST APIs.
Familiarity with state management and modern frontend development practices.
Understanding of frontend performance optimization.
Experience with version control systems such as Git.
Ability to write clean, scalable, and maintainable code.
Good problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
Experience working on travel, booking, e-commerce, or consumer-facing applications is a plus.
Familiarity with Tailwind CSS or other modern CSS frameworks.
Knowledge of server-side rendering (SSR), static site generation (SSG), and Next.js routing.
Experience with third-party integrations such as maps, payment gateways, booking systems, or travel APIs is an advantage.
Understanding of UI/UX principles and mobile-first development.
Develop and maintain responsive, high-performance web applications using Next.js and React.js.
Build intuitive and engaging user interfaces for our travel application.
Collaborate with UI/UX designers to convert designs into high-quality, functional frontend experiences.
Integrate frontend applications with REST APIs and backend services.
Ensure applications are responsive and work smoothly across different devices and browsers.
Optimize application performance, loading speed, and user experience.
Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code.
Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve frontend bugs and technical issues.
Collaborate with backend developers, QA engineers, and product teams throughout the development process.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving development standards and best practices.
Stay updated with modern frontend technologies and Next.js best practices.
